SAFLOTE and SAFGARD anti-pollution hoses incorporate a double casing system. In the unlikely event that the primary casing fails, the secondary casing remains intact. By not being stressed prior to failure, the secondary casing has all the strength and containment capabilities required to take over, thus containing the oil and preventing oil spill and associated environmental damage.
